Change model state default header in Excel

Hi Guys,

We have our system set up so that all our custom parts' description uses the member field. When I create a model state of any component it changes my part description to the model state which messes with the parts list. Our manufacturing team cuts raw material from the parts list and this is causing issues. Is there a way to change the default headers in the Excel sheet that the model state creates? If I can change it from Member to Model state it would help a lot. Is there an Excel sheet template somewhere in the C drive for this?

This is before the model state has been created:

Then this happens when I create a model state in the part:

Model state Excel sheet:

How I would like to change the Model State Excel template:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

PS. I tried manually doing it in this specific Excel sheet, but it gives an error, which is why I am thinking it needs to happen in the template file?

Hi! I don't think there is a way to do that. The member column denotes the Model States similar to iPart/iAssembly member column.

Many thanks!
