Disregard this thread.... Applied SPK2 and the problem went away.
A user has this drawing that contains a base view and two projected views of a piping skid. The level of detail for the base view was set to master. The user went back into the drawing and changed the LOD to a level that only contains a few piping/skid components. While updating the view, Inventor locks up with no message. There's no activity even after 15 minutes, meaning end-task Inventor.
However If we start another base view on the drawing using the same assembly and LOD, we are able to change the view LOD back and forth with no problem. Based on that I would assume the original base view has a problem, but what is it?
Anybody seen this before?
And before you ask, I am not allow to share our designs (electronic format) outside of our Corporate firewall.
