Change description design features

Hi,

like the subject explains, is it possible that you can change the description of the design features. Like when I place a bolted connection, the description in the BOM will be in english, can this description be changed in dutch?

Hi,

Since these are library parts pulled from your Content Center, you can modify the descriptions by editing the family table in the Content Center Editor.  Sometimes it takes a little searching to find which column populates the Description property on the part.  Once you find it, however, you can change it to whatever you want.

Parts that have already been used in your assemblies can then be updated by using the Refresh command.

In Inventor go to Modify, Editor, then find the family and right click.  Select Family Table.  Look for the column that seems to be your description, check it's mapping to the Inventor Property.  if it is description, this is the field to edit.
