Change default inches to MM

Simple question guys,

When i setup inventor 10 i choose to use inches, but now i want to use MM how would i change it under inventor 10 i thought it would bbe under options but it not.

Hi! If I recalled correctly, in older Inventor releases, the unit was an install option. You may be able to do Repair Install or Reinstall to select mm. Or, you simply copy the metric template files to the default template folder (rename them as Standard.xxx accordingly).

you can change the default units at least in inventor 2020 by going to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2020\Templates\en-US and opening all of the "standard" files (Standard.ipt, etc) in inventor and changing the units of those parts to mm and saving so when you create new parts in the future, it will by default use mm
