Change appearance to different faces

Long story short: I need to assign different appearances to faces belonging to the same solid.

Is there a way to do that or I need to model another part?

The main body has the same material, but different appearances as shown in the picture below:

Enter the part in the assembly and click the surface you want another color.
Then just change to another color

@Mustang69 I don't get it. The part is already in the assembly.

Do this in the part itself.  Make sure you are selecting faces and edges (this should be the default selection mode in a part), select a face, right click and select properties.  You will be able to assign colors from your currently selected appearances library.  If you have access to more than one appearance library, select the desired one first from bottom of the appearances drop down, then do the right click & properties thing.  If you don't want to color a whole face, you may need to split the face.  If you have an appropriate picture (or image), like a logo, you can apply it to a surface using the Decal function.
