Cant extrude on angled face of HEA beam

Hello,

ive been trying to make a custom size plate on the profile of my beam to connect it with bolts. The 'insert end cap' didnt work because its not a flat face but i have it sloped at 13.3 degrees for the construction of a sloped roof, but i also cant make a 2D sketch thats extrudable on the face of the beam (I can make the sketch on it but it cant be extruded).

Anyone have any tips or ideas for me, PLEASEEEEE

-its a frame construction in the frame generator

-added pic of the face (with the sketch on it)

Can you share the part file to have a look at?

Are you wanting a separate part for the endcap or a new solid body for it in the steel member file?

If creating the part within the context of an assembly you must select New Part before New Sketch.  You cannot create a part from an assembly level sketch.
