Cannot start Inventor

I cannot start Inventor. The intro picture with the "drill" appears and that's it. Is there a new service package that I have ignored?

Have you rebooted the computer and the problem persists?

Have you run the Inventor Reset Utility and the problem persists?

Have you installed the latest update for your version of Inventor?

What version of Inventor is this?

What version of Windows OS?

Is this a new install that never worked?

Is this an old install that worked for some period of time, and now for some reason it does not work?

If old install, did you create a Windows Restore Point when everything was working OK?

Is this a stand-alone license, or is this a network license?

Go to services on your computer and make sure that the "Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service" is started/running..

Hi! What Inventor release are you on? If you are on 2021, please try the following command in CMD. Replace 2021 with 2020 if you are on 2020.

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2021\Bin\Inventor.exe" /unlicensed

Another possibility is that the MyHome is being blocked from starting due to security measure. Please take a look at message #4 in the following thread.

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/start-up-glitch-with-inventor/td-p/9374140

Many thanks!
