When starting Inventor 2019 I got the message "Cannot open file C:\User.....\Standard.ipt and if I try to open an existing file I get the following message "The file AdMaterialUI.dll can't be loaded..."

Can anyone help me with this issue?

I have already re-install it several times and I get the same message every time.

AdMaterialUI-dll.PNGInventor startup.PNG

Close Inventor..

Try unzipping (extracting) and then copying the attached file into your "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2019\Bin" folder

Then restart Inventor

Did that help?

Hi! I suspect this may have something to do with missing or incomplete install of Autodesk Material and Appearance Library. Please go to Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> find the following three programs in the same release as your Inventor.

-Autodesk Material Library Low Resolution Image Library

-Autodesk Material Library Base Resolution Image Library

-Autodesk Material Library

They need to be there. Or, Inventor may not work correctly.

Many thanks!

Hello sthh11,
My customer has same experience as this. His computer was infected by virus and a lot of dlls seemed to be corrupted.
It seemed to need to remove virus and recover the computer at that time.
Thanks,

Are you still getting the dll error after performing the steps I suggested?

My dll file is most certainly not corrupted..

Hi! Two more things to try. Go to Get Started -> Projects -> look at the Material Library and Appearance Library. Are they highlighted in red? If yes, it means they are not set up properly. You need to find the library files and point the project to those files.

Go to Tools -> Application Options -> Files -> Configure Default Templates. Select the correct unit and standard ->Ok. You will get a new set of template files in your default Templates folder.

Many thanks!
