cannot make flat pattern

Making a rib to go in between two pieces of sheet metal. The rib is also made out of sheet metal. When I go to flat part design, nothing changes. I know its possible because I got it to flatten earlier but had to make some changes, then it was unable to flatten, and I cannot go to the previous design. I don't know what I did wrong! =( Here is the part file.

There is a 2016 file attached to his original post.

When I first opened it, I noticed you had .188 entered in for the sheetmetal thickness.  The part dimensions (d38) is actually .1875.  I thought that was the problem... You normally have to have the thickness EXACTLY the same in order for it to flatten...... but it is deeper than that.

I tried to work with it but could not get it to flatten either, sorry.  I even rolled it all the way back to the Extrsion 1 and then tried to create a "Contour Flange" from his sketch1 profile.  It also failed.  Tried several things but could not get it to work.

Even brought your sketch over to 2015 and tried the same Contour Flange command ... same result as 2016... no shape.

I cleaned up your sketches.

You'll have to adjust sizes since I have no idea of your intent.
