Can't install trial FDS

I'm trying to install the autodesk FDS download.  I keep getting an error part way through.

after trying to debug I get this message "Unhandled exception at 0x50106B52 (AdDLM.dll) in Setup.exe"

Anyone know what's happening or how to fix it?

If you are using the Download Manager, this can sometimes lead to issues. I find it's easier to use the Browser Download option (says it's slower) which will then save the install files to your Download Folder. Then double click on the #1 file to start the extraction process, then navigate to the extraction folder and double click on the "Setup.exe" file to start the installation.

Also I took off all the install options w/ warnings and turned off my firewall. Same gig.

And I have a setup file but I get errors if I don't click the setup webinstall.exe file.

Look for your installation log file in your temp folder and post it here or you can use the new AIDA utility to troubleshoot your log file.

Possibly a bad file in the download. Try cleaning all your Internet Explorer temp and cache files/folders and try downloading the install program again.

It doesn't hurt to download a small utility such as "cCleaner.com" from the same website. This does a good job of cleaning Temp and Cache folders.

Also make sure that you have "Administrative" privileges as well.
