Like disabled Dekstop Analytics via the registry, is there a regkey to disable Privacy Settings popup at first run?

Hi! Launch Regedit.exe. Find the following path.

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\MC3

Set the two keys to 0.

"ADAOptIn"

"ADARePrompted"

Many thanks!

Hi,

I'm tried the registration key, but it's not working.

It worked fine in the 2022 edition with the key.

Hi! I am sorry for the misinformation. As of Inventor 2022, the setting is in your Autodesk user profile. Please do the following.

  1. Go to https://profile.autodesk.com and sign in if you aren’t already.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click the pencil icon next to Desktop Products in the Product Privacy section to set your preferences.
Or, on Inventor, go to the Account Settings menu or Help menu. Settings locations vary by product. Click Privacy Settings or Desktop Analytics.
Many thanks!

Hi,

It is unfortunately not an option for me as I have to roll it out on 300 machines by software manager, and had hoped for a regkey that could handle it 🙂 I do not have access to people's Autodesk accounts

Best regards

Charles

I am receiving this message across all Autodesk products (Inventor, Plant3d, Civil3d, desktop connector, Vault). This message randomly pops up and freezes the app for 1 minute so it can load its content. It shows when I open the app and when I open a document and when I run any command inside of the app for the first time in that session.

the suggested solution by Autodesk does not fix it either. Because when my IT department tried to run the apps as admin (As instructed in the solution by Autodesk), It would require a new log-in to Autodesk account but the window to insert the credentials would not show.

I have updated these privacy settings in my profile on the Autodesk platform but the apps keep asking for it.

It's hard to not swear while working with Autodesk products.

Hi Hamed,

Could you take a look at this article and see if it helps?

Many thanks!

Thanks, it is saying message has to be shown for legal matters, and it suggests it should happen only during install. For me this message pops up every single time I open the applications.
