Hello,

Do you use vault project or local single project? I saw there is an additional dialog in your video, not sure what is it?

Thanks,

Steven

Yes, I use Vault project.

This dialog is Vault filename generator. I just skip names in this example.

Doesn't matter I use local project or Vault project. This error "can not open MOLDflow project" appears every time.

It already has previous topic in forum:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/please-help-plastic-mould-fill-analysis/td-p/5171529

But it not help me. There is no any 3rdParty or AIP files. It's just extruded cube, material and gate location in new empty mold assembly.

Can you try to run mitsi.exe with admin right? Select the file and pick "Run As Administrator."

You can find the mitsi.exe in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2020\Moldflow\bin\mitsi.exe (default folder, if you install Inventor to other place, you may find it in your specific installed place).

Do you have firewall on your machine?

Thanks,

Steven

2020.2 - version.

I run as admin mitsi.exe, it no sense, alert prompt is present.

My PC firewall is a standart windows10 utilities and it's guard is "on"

I carefully investigate this issue on each station in our Vault network. And in my surprise, I found only 1 PC, which run this analysis.

It's enough for me to approve mold design.

OK, nice to see you can continue the fill analysis on one of machines. This is more like an environment settings issue. You may compare the difference between working machine and others to find some hints. If you have any findings, please let us know, thanks in advance!

Thanks,

Steven

I don't see error in your video. Is the error - "Can not open MOLDflow project"? Did you try the part fill analysis? I saw the moldbase is sick in your video. In addition, can you have a try to disable anti-virus and UAC?

Thanks,

Steven

Thank you! This was it! Run the mitsi.exe file as admin. Then, it was necessary to close Inventor and reopen the assembly file.

Now I can do the fill analysis.
