Is there a way to move the "Save copy as STL" button from the 3D print environment to the main 3D Model toolbar in a part file?  I teach CAD classes, and we 3D print almost everything we model, and file>export>cad model>Save as type>stl is kind of a hassle.  It would be awesome as a one-click deal in the main environment.

The answer is yes... but.

Right click on the ribbon and under customise user commands you can find STL on the right and add it to the part 3D model drop down. This will make it appear on the ribbon. However it isn't selectable in the part environment so there isn't much point.

A hotkey assigned to it doesn't work in the part environment either. Instead I would add a hotkey for export to CAD format and then select STL in the dialogue box each time.

Use iLogic Copy? Please consider voting for this long overdue idea (not mine):https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ideas/string-replace-for-ilogic-design-copy/idi-p/3821399

Yeah, that's what I found too, but it doesn't save much time.  I guess I need to learn to make those buttons using macros and whatnot.  I have no idea how to even start on that though.
