Calibrating a canvas?

I used the calibrate canvas function extensively in F360, but I can't seem to find a way to accurately scale a picture in inventor. I have been googling for an hour have not found anything aside from scaling from the original size by a factor, which is not what I'm looking to do. Is there a way to calibrate a canvas in inventor from point to point without trial and error?

What's a canvas?

Are you using an image as a background to a sketch?

Yes. In Fusion 360 an inserted image is called a canvas and there is a dedicated function to calibrate it. That video does provide what I am looking do to, however convoluted. Thank you!

That was way too much work.

Attach your file here for demonstration of the easy way to Calibrate an image (that is better than Fusion 360).

Sure. Here is a pretty typical example of a sheet I receive, except they were nice enough to fully dimension this one. Usually I just get an overall length and have to trace the rest at scale.

In the video I forgot to mention that you can turn off the Dimension Visibility after calibration of the image.

Ah, thank you! I'm surprised I didn't think to try that, as that is the way I used to have to do it in OnShape. I appreciate you taking the time to record this.
