I'd like to model a representation of a stainless steel wire (I'm not concerned with how the surface render looks), but I need help creating the trajectory - assuming I'm going to use the sweep command to create the solid geometry.
In Creo I'd create a surface then project a curve onto it. Is there similar functionality in Inventor or am I barking up the wrong tree?
It would also be possible in tube and pipe, but it would require manually altering the physically generated tube or creating a new style in the content center.
