Hello!
I was trying to use shape generator to shave a few grams off of my parts.
I didn't use the tool in other versions, so I can't compare. I'm using Inventor 2022 Build 153.
I'll give my best to describe the problem:
With a part open, 3D Model > Explore > Shape Generator.
Until this point, there is no problem.
Once I click on Manage > Create Study, Inventor goes into the Study Window as intended, but something changes on my computer.
The input switches to CAPS LOCK (even though the keyboard doesn't), my mouse clicks do different commands, as well as the Enter key. It gets hard to navigate the computer, because a left click opens a new instance of the program I clicked, including Inventor.
On the browser, if I write something and hit Enter, it opens the search on a new window;
Left click on restart goes into the blue screen to troubleshoot the computer...
I'm trying to use words to describe the problem, as a Screencast would just seem like I was messing around.
Anybody else having this issue?

Hi! I suspect you might be running Windows 10 with Text Cursor enabled. Please go to Windows Setting and disable Text Cursor. It is known to cause instability and problems on Inventor 2022. We are working on a fix to address it. Before the fix becomes available, please disable the option.
Many thanks!
Hi @johnsonshiue ,
I've never turned it on, nor it was on, I just checked.
I uptaded from Inventor 2022 Build 153 → Inventor 2022.1 Build 213 (Beta), but the bug persists, contrary to what happened with this bug.
Probably another setting?

Seems like I just figured what the problem was.
I couldn't understand the origin of it in the first place though.
First, I launched the on screen keyboard (win+r > osk.exe);
Then, I went thru Shape Generator > Create Study;
I noticed that the on scrren keyboard showed Caps Lock active, but my physical keyboard didn't;
Just clicked the Caps Lock on the on screen keyboard and no more problem;
Even fully restarted my pc and double checked, and the correction persists.
Hope it helps someone else.
