Bug report: Datum Identifier Symbol Location on Views with Breaks

Good afternoon Autodesk Team;

I have come across a bug with the Datum Identifier Symbol (Annotate -> Symbols) on views that have a break in them.
When attempting to move the datum identifier symbol after placement, it snaps to an incorrect position (it is offset towards the part by a constant distance, presumably based on how much of the part is hidden via the Break).

I have attached a video showing how to duplicate the bug.

Thanks,

-Brandon

Hi Brandon,

It looks like a bug or a limitation. The ideal behavior is to have an extension line protruding. In this case, the edge cannot be extended. Regardless, the behavior does not look right to me. The workaround is to include the workplane or the workaxis so there is a reference to tag on.

I will work with the project team to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!
