Hi everyone!

There is some issue in Autodesk Inventor Professional 2026.

The main problem is that I couldn't to arrange attached balloons in horizontal position. The balloons is only vertical position and I can't find way to  make they horizontal.

I can't drag with mouse to make in horizontal line.

Hi! This behavior seems specific to underlined balloon. If the balloon style is a circle, it seems to work fine. I will follow up with the project team to see if this is an intended behavior.

Many thanks!

Hi! The project team has confirmed that the behavior is indeed intended. When the underlined balloon is selected, only vertical alignment is allowed to avoid confusion.

Many thanks!

I have worked with Inventor Professional for years, and I have the same problem. This is the first version where this function is not working properly:(
And this bug is not only for underlined balloons, it's not working properly for any style. If you choose the wrong position at the beginning, it is not possible to drag balloons afterwards from horizontal to vertical alignment or vice versa.

MY BALLOONS WON'T REARRANGE (DRAG TO POSITION). I HAVE 2026.1 INSTALLED. MY BALLOONS ARE NOT ROUND OR UNDERLINED. WE USE THE ENTIRE PART NUMBER IN OUR BALLOONS, SO SPACE BECOMES AN ISSUE w/ THIS BUG. PLEASE WORK ON IT PEOPLE.

Hi! I just double-check the latest status of INVGEN-84411. Originally, it was targeting 2026.1 but we ran out of time for 2026.1 update. Now it has been resolved and targeting 2026.2 update. If you want to have the fix sooner, please contact Autodesk Product Support to escalate it.

Many thanks!

The funny thing is that it works in a certain area of the drawing:
