BOMs Reordering Themselves When Switching Model States

I just ran into this issue where I'll reorder and renumber the BOM in an assembly with model states, switch model states, and when I get back to the first model state, the BOM is ordered and numbered the same as it was before:

I first realized this because when I would reorder the BOM and check in the assembly back into vault, it would order and number the BOM back to what it was before I reordered it.

Any one else run into this/have a solution?

Thanks

Yes, BOM contain all the parts in assembly, suppressed and unsuppressed.

They all have item number.

So the reorder, overwrite will not work.

I just reorder in drawing and leave it there.

I don't use or need item number to be the same in different drawings.

Yeah, that's kind of where I'm at now. It just work against our workflow of pushing everything from the model to the drawing.
It would be nicer if you could set the BOM order for each model state, one would think that wouldn't be that hard.

You can add it to Idea.

Probably one more column in table for BOM override.
