BOM set weld assembly material blank

Hi there,

I currently have 2 weld assemblies which I've put into another assembly. When I create a drawing of this assembly and insert the BoM, the 2 weld assemblies have a material attached to them, which normal assemblies don't have.

I've found out that the material, of the weld assemblies, shown in the BoM originates from the welding material specified in the weld iam.

Is there a way to set it to blank, like in normal assemblies?

I couldnt handle this. But I created a material just "welded". If i'm using welding assembly i choose "welded" material.

Then don't use weldment.  Just put it in assembly.

A weldment is the same material as the welded parts.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I'll try either this or delete the material in the drawing BoM.
