BOM Configurations

This may be a tough one gang and not sure its even possible. We would like to have a single BOM recognize multiple configurations. (see attached) The Gist.. An assemblies BOM that would vary by the quantities of one or more parts with in one BOM. Some of you may have seen this system as G01, G02 G03 etc.. As of late, we place all parts in the Master LOD and use that to populate our Bill. Then we insert columns for each G0_ that we have. We then manually enter the quantities applicable to each G0_ configuration. It would be great if we could have the BOM pick up each version and the quantities needed to manufacture that particular G0_. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Are your assemblies iAssemblies? If so I think what you're looking for can be done. iAssemblies are the correct tool for configurations in Inventor.

Thank you for your response. Currently they are not iAssemblies. That being said, would I just place each iAssembly (G01, G02, G03...) into my "master" assembly?

No.. You turn your existing assembly into an iassembly (known as the "factory") and then create each of the "children or members"..
