Bolted connection fails to insert bolts

Anyone else have issues with bolted connections on 2021? I can no longer do one bolted connection using sketches with workpoints.

It creates the holes but then instead of placing the bolts in the holes, it only places one bolt floating in the middle of the assembly.

In pic I made a sketch with 16x centermarks on the content center part (beam) and then the bolted connection in the main assembly.

Used to work fine with inventor 2018.

Hi Johan,

Have you installed 2021.1 update? If yes, do Rebuild All. Do the bolts go back to where they should be?

Please share an example that exhibits the behavior.

Many thanks!

Yes, 2021.1

In preview mode the bolts are placed where they should but when press ok, only one bolt and nut is inserted in the center of model. Rebuild all did not affect anything.

Hi! It does not look right. If possible, please share the files here or send them (zipped) to me directly [email protected]. I would like to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

Hello,

please use Bolted Connection with sub-folder option.

Regards

My problem was it was asking me to check out existing fasteners from Vault--not sure why (I shouldn't be editing anything)--initially I said no, and it failed; but then I tried yes, and it placed!  I guess I can Undo Check Out after, and it's all good, but still seems silly.

@johnsonshiue , I would call this a bug (2023.2.1).
