I'm waiting for this as well.

For the moment it's a SpaceNavigator and a Logitech Marathon Mouse.  The cool thing about the Marathon Mouse is the batteries last at least 3 years before needing to be changed.  And that's just two AA batteries... no charging or anything... it amazes me... could be more precise though.

Marathon mouse does have outstanding battery life.  I've never had one where the batteries died before the microswitches in the mouse buttons.  That usually took about 4-5 months for me.

I have a Logitech M310 at work and an M510 at home. I'm quite happy with both mice except I could never live without the extra buttons on my M510 at home.

I also have a SpaceNavigator of course, can't live without one at work. Whenever I fire up Inventor at home my left hand automatically moves and doesn't find one, lol. If I did more Inventor at home I'd buy one for myself.

SpacePilot and a Evoluent VerticalMouse 2 (http://evoluent.com/).

I really like the "handshake" position for the mouse, but I've worn through the black paint on its housing. I guess I've had it 8-9 years or so.

I won the SpacePilot at a users group meeting years ago.
