Bead roll for sheet metal

Hi,

I am trying to create this iFeature to the pdf. I am having to offset the play to get the desired look, but I cannot seem to find out a way to get rid of the underside of the revolve. If someone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You can create a sketch on the side profile of the material thickness, draw a rectangle greater then the length of the profile of the bead. Make sure rectangles top edge has a collinear constraint with bottom edge of the material. finish sketch then either cut away or extrude cut everything in the rectangle you drew.

Is it allowing you to extract iFeature for sheet metal punch? That's what I am trying to do

I'm on 2023, can't see features in your model.

Don't model the extra on the bottom.

Just model the finished features.

First make cutout for the feature then model the feature.

I can't get the desired outcome without offsetting the plane then revolving the sketch which leaves that bottom part. Won't let me extrusion cut or cut it.

Add a mirror and it might be what you want.
