Balloon (circular - two entries) override

We have an IDW that shows the location of electrical components in a vehicle (lights, pumps, fans, etc.). We are trying to assign each item to a circuit and then total the number of amps on each circuit to make sure we are not overloading. In the past, we have used an Excel worksheet in the IDW. That comes with problems, one being the Item number in the IDW does not update in the worksheet when it changes. We are playing with a separate parts list that has the last column set to Sum. We have two custom iproperties in each IPT, one is Amps, the other is Circuit #. The Amps is set to what ever that part requires, the Circuit # is set to 0. In the parts list of the IDW, we override the Circuit # for that particular vehicle as required. This gives us total amps for each circuit. The problem comes when we have the same items on different circuits (such as lights). We tried using Circular-2 balloons with the Circuit # showing on the bottom so we could override the Circuit # at each balloon. The problem is there is now way we can find to override the bottom of these balloons, only the top. We are not even sure if we could override the bottom part, it would show up in the parts list as a separate row. See attached. The small table on the right shows the circuits and amp totals. Does anybody have any idea how to specify what circuit an item is on and then total each circuit? We have been told this can't even be done in Cable and Harness.

Hi!

Have you tried the attach balloon function? Is it something you want?

Thanks!Untitled1.png

No, this would not do what we need. We need to edit the bottom part of the existing balloon to specify which electrical circuit this particular light is on and then, update in the custom parts list to get a total amps for each circuit in the vehicle. Thanks for the suggestion though.
