Autodesk Viewer - Shared Views

Trying to use this "Shared Views" that came out with 2020 (Subscription users only). Got a few questions mainly with the "Autodesk Viewer".  Did not really know where I should post this, but since its all related to Inventor, I guessed here would work.

1. When the model opens up, first thing I notice is the "Top" is not where it was when it was in Inventor.  I can manipulate the viewcube and reset the "Top" view to where its supposed to be,  but why should I have to do that?

2. How in the world do I set the orbit center?  I am used to the "Inventor" way of using the orbit tool.  To me it is hard to use the orbit like it is.  I can't spin the model like I want it bumps into something and stops it. When I am zoomed in tight and need to nudge it around just a bit, it goes flying off in some wierd direction.  Getting the "Top" view set correctly here does help with orbiting, but if I could just set the orbit center like we do in Inventor, it seems that would solve 99.9% of my issues with manipulating the view.

Thanks

Hi,

I have (2020) a match bettween Top views model/shared view.

And if I reset Top view in Inventor, when i will create the new shared view there is again a match.

For orbit, double clicking in the space in the shared view it should reset the point center in te COG of the model.

If you select a part and again you double click you will use the COG of the part.

Not so full option like Inventor..but better then nothing

No.  The top view for the shared view does not match Inventor.  I just deleted the shared view and recreated it.

This is what the top view looks like in Inventor.

This is what the Shared view looks like.  Not even close.

I do see this when I open the shared view. But when I click on it, the log is showing some missing .bmp files.  I dont think that would have anything to do with the view orientation.
