Autocad inventor direct to CNC machine

Hi,

I've been informed that Autocad Inventor will connect directly to a Fanuc contolled CNC machine. Is this true?,if so can someone email information or an example concerning the CNC file output format.
( ie does Inventor create Fanuc Macro'C' code. )

No, Inventor and all other CAD applications (without add-ins) do not
connect directly with CNC machine controllers. They need one or both of
these software applications:

1. A CNC programming package - Esprit, MasterCAM, Gibbs, EdgeCAM, etc.
2. If the CNC software does not include it:, a communication package.
