Authored part (stp file) not visible - Tube and Pipe Environment

Hi

I have an imported astep file authored for tube and pipe environment. The model browser snip in assy is shown below. It is not visible in .iam file. However, if I open the run as a separate file, I can see it.

This is a copy design of an earlier project.

When I open main .iam file T&P to select "Display All Objects", that option is not highlighted and hence I cant select it. Also the view selected is Master.

But the part is visible when I open this file alone in a different window. Pls help

Hello

Model is surface. You can open this model and convert to solid model then you can use this model in Tube and pipe

Right-click "Srf1" and check "Visibility" back on.

@Gabriel_Watson @Gokhan_Kaya Thanks for your replies.  However it didnt work. In main assy, visibility of surface1 is already on, but i am not able to change visibility of composite.

However, both are turned on in part file

Hi! I would like to take a look. The behavior does not sound right to me. Could you share the authored part here?

Many thanks!

Try this: View (tab) > Object visibility > enable "Construction Surfaces". I tested a mock-up which replicated the same issue here, validating this as our most likely cause.

When the above setting is OFF at the assembly level, even if you edit the part it will still be invisible until you open it explicitly:
