Attempting to model a Squat exercise and impact of forces on joints

Hi

I am trying to model a Squat exercise to evaluate the following:
How angles and posture affects forces on the joints
How much energy the exercise uses
How big of a difference does it make squatting to 90 degrees vs 120 degrees

So far I have built a model of a training person and I need some guidance on how to finish the it and do tests in dynamic environments.

This is what I have built so far(Screenshot attached)

Any tips that can help me would be awesome.

Thanks in advance 🙂

How much experience do you have in Inventor? Any experience in the Dynamic Simulation Environment?

While your model looks cute I think it will be much easier to simplify everything to a 2D shape. I'm not good at all in those Simulations but i can tell you that your model will need to be constrained to eliminate almost all DOF's. You can always make a pretty model later and animate that but use the simplest possible abstraction for the simulations.
