attached sub-assemblies to an original one.

My work is designing storefront and curtain wall, I's mainly repetitive sub-assemblies that I use iCopy to build witch is actually a great tool in inventor,

Now I'm looking for a better way or even an additional idea to keep these sub-assemblies attached to the original one, if I add something to it or even delete, it should be reflected to them automatically.

Any help would be appreciated.SFCW.PNG

Hi! It is unclear to me what you are looking for? Have you tried grounding the iCopied subassemblies? Do you mind sharing an example here?

Many thanks!

The whole point of icopy is to do the exact opposite of what you seem to want.. It creates a copy but removes the link/reference back to the parent

Without knowing exactly what is changing with each copy its hard to give a suggestion on an alternate way to maintain some link back to the parent/first subassembly..

Maybe iparts/iassemblies is what you are looking for?

It can allow a "series" of like parts and assemblies to be managed by a single ipart or iassembly factory..

the attachment I'm referring to is when adding parts or deleting them, not to size of sub-assemblies.
