Assembly part not visible

Hi

There seems to be problem with my inventor 2015 professional.

i have received a stp. file from a customer.( only happens for assembly files)

the files open up without any error, everything is loaded on the browser but no part is visible.

visibility turned on, checked opening with other pc's it works fine with same settings.

i have to open stp. files in other pc and save them again to asm.iam format to open in my  PC inventor.

any suggestion whats wrong and how to resolve the problem

Can you share the file? 

Could it be zoomed out ...

Click on the files and Find in Window and see if it brings it up

Sometimes when this happens I have to click up on the browser tree, and find the Solid Bodies area, then turn on the visibility there.

It might come in as a surface that needs to be changed to a different representation.

Can you attach your parts or a screenshot with the browser tree R+Click on the top-most feature and expand all to show what is going on?

it works on other's PC or inventor but has trouble opening in my PC.

i cannot find solidbodies option 

please suggest if i have missed anything.

i r-clicked on every part and assembly option, cannot find the option.

Can you post screen capture image of the Options you are using on Open?

Can you right click on one of the parts in the browser and select Open rather than Edit?

Can you then post screen shot of the expanded browser similar to this image (use the Windows Snipping Tool).

@Anonymous Thank you for sharing the parts.

If you see the attached screenshot the parts came in fine and with them is a Solid Body, yours looks like it does not have this information.

On your Open does it give you options like @JDMather stated? It doesn't seem like it is importing the solids for your settings.

If you open the base component and look at the Solid is it suppressed? Let us know if this gets you closer.

I Don't understand what to do ...i am also facing the same that parts & assembly is not visible in main .iam while it is in browser. Please advise if any setting there ?

Hi! Please activate Assembly Design View Rep: Master. Are those parts visible?
