Assembly Constraint

Hi everyone,

I need your help. I want to make this fully constraint with gusset and the exhaust offset. They were already constraint with tangent and flush. But the gusset still moving. Please give me some idea. Thank you.

Most new users are not aware that you can constrain parts using part or assembly origin planes...

You likely need to add angle constraints off origin planes or similar.

Even angle constraints from one gusset to another after the first one is locked in its resting position.

Hi! I see the confusion. Tangent constraint is between the bottom face of a fin and the cylinder. However, it does not lock the fin in the contact face. As long as the bottom face (planar) remain tangent (angle-wise) to the cylinder, it is a legitimate solution. Like Brian mentioned here, you need to add more constraints to lock down the degree of freedom.

Many thanks!
