Appearance Skin Changes Grain Direction

I am working on an arched wood leg. The leg is straight for 16" then flairs out 2" over the course of 12". Where the arch starts, to the bottom of the leg, the grain direction changes. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? Thanks in advance

Hi! The grain direction on a given face can be tweaked by using Adjust Appearance command. Go to Quick Access Toolbar at the top of Inventor. Find the second colored wheel from the right. There you can rotate the grain direction for the selected appearance on the face.

Many thanks!

Thank you for the response. So basically I have to create a new (duplicate) skin for the bottom (arched) area of the leg and just deal with the line where the 2 skins meet?

That's awesome man. I really appreciate it. Would love to hear how exactly you did it whenever you get time. No hurry.
