any way to rotate dimension line like autocad?

Hi, everyone, m wondering is there anyway to rotate an aligned dimension in Inventor drawing like autocad?  please see the image below(the red arrow one is waht I want).  or is this could be done by coding with C#? Appriciate any help. Thanks.

You can sort of get that look when dimensioning an isometric view. Although, what value is there in dimensioning that way?

My supervisor asked to dimension like that. 😂. so the answer is "No".  I can not rotate an aligned dimension like autocad in inventor 2D plan view, right?

Click and drag one end point of the dimension, where it touches the arrow:

thanks a lot.  one more quesion, can I constrain the dimension line to keep it absolutely horizental?

That's the bad part.... I don't think there is an automatic way for that.
I just zoomed in as much as I could and tried to eliminate bumps/steps on the horizontal extension line to make it as flat as possible.

Wait a minute.

Are you trying to dimension the vertical height

or

are you trying to dimension the Aligned length?

 

Can you attach your *.ipt file an drawing file here?

What Standard does your company use (ANSI/ASME or ISO or other)?

Hi Folks,

 

I would like to double-check and see if the "Rotate Dimension" is about the ability to align the dimension to a view edge. If yes, it is available as of 2021 and later. The exact term in AutoCAD is called "Rotated Dimension", which means a dimension is aligned to a selected linear reference.
