Animation using Drive

Hi All,

I am using 2025 Inventor. I seem to be forget the animation of closing and opening items. Its going very slow which is resulting in big avi file.

Here is what i do, Select on parameter that is modified to change position (mate or angle) right click and hit drive.

My settings are added as image below. However, what i want to achieve is door open and close in 1 video file.

Do we have provision of entering the positional rep name instead of values? Also, even after doing it slow, the quality is very bad with wmv. Do we select avi file as type when saving?

Am i missing something? Please help. I need it ASAP. I use to do it long time ago but not getting it.

Regards,

Yash

HI!

Increase the Increment to get faster movement.

Use Studio.

Depends on the film rate you want.  30 frame/picture per second is best.  Then you'll need a high enough resolution.

It will be slow because it's making video rendering 1 frame at a time.

WMV are smaller.

Drive the constrain in studio:

More iteration better picture but longer rendering time.

Try different Antialiasing to remove "ghosting" or blur.

I setup a camera and rotate the camera.

The WMV is 584 KB.

Took about a month to figure it all out.

Thanks to both of you. I think i forgot to open the detail one. by clicking on double arrow. That was what i was missing. About studio, yup thats new learning for me.

Can you record audio while animation is going on ?

Yash

Don't know.  Didn't look for that function LOL.

Should be able to add audio after with other software.

I've found for the best video quality, use AVI with the Full Frames (Uncompressed) option. Then encode the resulting video to your preferred format using something like Handbrake.
