Align material with texture to object - need help

I can't get a material with texture to be placed in the center of the object

Looking after a good guide, showing how to automatic place texture materialen on the right place on my object. (Center)

No. 1. in the picture shows where the texture material is placed when I put the material on the object.
I have tried ( No.2) to move  around the material but cannot get it placed properly.

PS: Sometime there is showing 2 arrows to move materials up/down and other time these 2 arrows isn't be showing

Help is sought.

Go to View tab and set the visual style as Realistic, then, you will see the texture as expected.

Still the same. Can't center/align the texture to center of the 

[JDMather]

Attach your *.ipt file here.

Include the image file from which you are making the texture appearance.
