Add mass iproperties to a table cell in a drawing

I am new to inventor and would like to add the mass properties from my part/assembly model into a cell on

my drawing.  I can do this as a note but not in a table cell.

Try using a Parts List, rather than a general table.  Parts Lists can be linked to a single ipt as well as an iam.  You can also reference a model that is not shown in a view on the idw.

Ty Swalton,

fyi, this is a drawing of a part model which I have configured as an ipart, has the base part and

1 other configuration.  I want to add both of these to the parts list but when I go to add member

I cannot select both of the members but only toggle between one or the other.

Try this (for the mass property part):

(edited to add) As said below this is more than the original post ..and what it sounds like you wanted

Your problem is more complex than your initial post, but solvable.

1. Inventor treats Ipart factories (your base part) differently than ipart members (your "other" configuration.  You will not be able to place the ipart factory file in an assembly.  Make two ipart members, one with the same values as your base part, the other as your 2nd part.  When you need to place one in the assembly, pick the ipart factory file, and IV will ask you to select a member file.

2. For your print: make a dummy iam file that has both ipart member files.  You do not need to create a view of this iam file in your drawing.  When you place your Parts List on your idw, use the file navigation to select your dummy iam file.  You should be able to get the mass properties of the individual ipart member files.

TY Everyone for the suggestions. I was hoping to not have to
create a dummy assembly just for this purpose.

have a great day.
