FOR VIEW LABELS I NEED OPTION TO ADD OBJECT SUCH AS A CIRCLE OR BUBBLE.

FOR SECTION I NEED OPTION TO ADD SYMBOLS OR DIFFERENT ARROWS AND A CIRCLE OR BUBBLE WITH SHEET REF.

@matt.eschman Welcome, Matt!

Can you share a little more detail about what you are trying to do?  Which symbols are you trying to create as custom?  Some labels can be modified to some extent through the Styles Manager, others you may need to create Sketch Symbols for.

I am using sketch symbols now but is a bit time consuming. I need the view label with the circle on front as well and I am using sketch symbol but if view referenced is change I have to manually change the view label sketch symbol.

Hi Matt,

I believe I have seen similar requests before. I don't think the desirable workflow is enabled yet. Currently the view labels only allows the label text or the standard linetype to be configured.

Please vote for similar ideas on the Inventor Ideas forum.

Many thanks!

Hi @matt.eschman

As @johnsonshiue suggest these detailing tools are not really available which is a shame. There might be ways to drive symbol info through ilogic/ vba macro but it will be a tricky one as to try and connect the symbol leader to the view in order to ensure your changing the right one can be difficult. Very easy when selecting it manually as your eyes are a great tool. Can you give more info as to where the info is coming from and in what way it needs to change? This isn't totally clear from your drawing image.
