A way to turn off visibility of component pattern in idw?

When creating an idw of an assembly, there are some instances where I have to toggle visibility of certain component patterns. Is there a way to toggle visibility of the entire component pattern instead of having to expand all the patterns and selecting them individually?

Due to certain circumstances, I cannot suppress/create a level of detail in the model.

No you cannot turn off the visibility of a component pattern in an idw without expanding all the elements.

You can however use a design view representation so you only need to do it once in the iam.
