@lkirit2000 Usually for fabric or ropish'ish items  designers will mock something up, just so they can add it to the BOM, we use a lot of safety straps or pressure straps in my industry, but I've never modeled them. does it need to look "real" or just represent the strap?

As Chris mentioned above, usually a representative model is made. I often use a spline to sweep a profile to get a more natural looking model. The Cable and Harness tool can be utilized depending on your application.
