Is it possible to use parameters and some macros to create a simple 3D game in Inventor? Are there any games of such kind in Inventor or in other CAD products?

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Inventor is a 3D CAD Application for designing, not for gaming.   You would want to use Maya, 3DS Max, and Mudbox to create the entities.  Or review this https://www.autodesk.com/industry/media-entertainment/game-design-and-development

I doubt that Inventor is the right tool for that. Look rather at 3ds Max or Maya. On the other hand, there are some games developed for the Inventor and AutoCAD environments - e.g. Minesweeper and Tic-Tac-Toe.

See CAD games (freeware) on:

Regarding your question about creating a 3D game in Inventor, it's not the ideal platform for game development. Inventor is primarily a computer-aided design (CAD) software used for 3D modeling and engineering design. If you're interested in game development, you might want to explore dedicated game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.

Now, for games like Firewatch, if you're into narrative-driven experiences with beautiful environments, you might enjoy titles such as "The Vanishing of Ethan Carter," "Gone Home," or "What Remains of Edith Finch." These games share a similar emphasis on storytelling and atmospheric exploration.

If you're looking for something specific in the realm of 3D game animation, you might want to check out the Unity Asset Store or Unreal Marketplace. These platforms often have assets and resources that can help you create or enhance your 3D game projects.

Hope this helps, and feel free to ask if you have more questions!
