2020 Content Center Editing Slow?

I'm on 2020.0.1 and editing a custom content center library is slow. It took 5 hours to update my 2019 library to 2020 and then trying to copy a family from a default library to my custom library would lock up Inventor for 10-20 minutes. I'm now trying to create a new library from scratch but it's still taking around 5 minutes to copy a single family. I don't want to image how long it will take to update the family table with the changes I need.

Is this a known issue? Has anyone else experience this?

For a test... Exit Inventor and then delete those extra files or move them elsewhere..

Try again...  Is it better?

No, is the same, and the extra files are created again at launch of the
content center.

If this may be useful, on both PC are installed inventor 2018, 2019, 2020, but in only one, obviously the one that have the problem, there is installed also 3DS MAX 2018 and 2019. All software are correctly updated.

I installed the update 2020.1.1 and tried on customer's libraries which migrated for about 3 weeks and is basically the same... so it is no noticable improvment for very large libraries... Customer ditched their libraries with multiple materials and now using steel... 🙂

I would be interested to hear on how large libraries you are testing it.

Installed Inventor 2020.2 and can confirm that library migration from 2019 is now working at normal, usable speed.

but would be happier if it would not take several months to repair bug that was added as an improvement - for R 2020 we implemented full text search which can be usable, but made migration and editing large custom libraries not possible in real life.
