2017 Presentation Poor Performance

I am working on my first project in the new presentation environment. I have an assembly with 66 models and 171 occurrences. This isn't exactly a huge file. As I explode the model with tweaks, the performance is suffering significantly. It seems as though the tweaks are cumulatively calculating rather than acting as a single tweak each time you choose to tweak components. This is similar to the performance hit you might experience in Inventor 2016 if you tried to override the appearance of many items in an assembly. The cursor isn't highlighting parts quickly, things are taking forever to calculate, and it really is slowing down my workflow. I am at the point that I have to hover the cursor for 20+ seconds on a part before it will highlight, then it takes 20+ seconds before it highlights as selected. I only have 28 tweaks so far, moving about 60% of the parts in the assembly. Is there something I am doing wrong here? In the old presentation environment, this was quick and easy. Now, this takes forever. I love the new features, but the performance hit is ruining my performance.

I have the same problem. Loaded SP 1 & Sp2 and still it halts my program and the eventually crashes beacause Inventor does not like it when you get impatient and click on the screen numerous time after it does not respond.

Then at shut down i also get this window popping up.

Hi! The error you are seeing seems to be related to Guided Tutorial. The connected service has trouble starting. It sounds like the Updates were not installed property. Could you uninstall the updates and just install Update 4 (R4)? Each major update is accumulative. So you don't need to install prior major Updates.

Many thanks!
