I tried installing Vehicle Tracking 2024 using the plug in. I am able to install it but the tab is missing in Autocad 2024.
I double checked if I have the 2024 version for both "Vehicle Tracking" and "Autocad".
I also checked the support page for "missing tab", "https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Menu-and-ribbon-mi...", however I don't have .CUIX file or .dll file!
Is there a way to fix this? I tried reinstalling a few times, and I tried 2023 version but the same thing happened.
Thanks
If the software properly installed you should be able to locate it using Windows Explorer and open folder:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Vehicle Tracking 2024
or
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Vehicle Tracking 2023
Do you see this folder with .DLL file inside it?
I do see this file but it doesn't have a .DLL file. It only has .dbx file and .txt.
Here is a screenshot.
Looks like installation is incomplete. Do you have local admin rights to install software? Do you have AEC Collection? Have you tried installing on a different computer? Were you successful in signing into your account to download the app as described here:
If all else fails you may want to contact Autodesk for assistance
I have admin rights.
I only have Autocad 2024. I do not have AEC Collection, do I also need to have this in order for Autocad to work with "Vehicle Tracking"?
I tried installing this on another computer but the file was also incomplete (same as the picture above).
Thank you
According to the link I provided from Autodesk AEC Collection is the subscription you need to have in order to download the app from your account.
Yeah, I didn't see that anywhere else before! I will check if I can get it too.
Thank you very much
