Unnable to install Autodesk Vehicle Tracking

Hello Everyone!

I've been trying to install the free trial version of Autodesk Vehicle Tracking but evertime I download this program I always get the instalation buttom blocked (I hereby attach a screenshot of the instalation panel). I've tried this with several computers of my office and with different Autodesk accounts but I'm still not able to install it. We do have the full working version of Autocad in each of this computers but when I try to click in the upper box I get the following message: "this product needs the following applications" and the the list of the programs required... (I hereby attach a screenshot of this message box). 

I remember installing this program in a different computer but back in that time I didn't have that issue before. I would appreciate all your help within this matter and also to excuse my english if I commited any grammar mistakes.

Is your AutoCAD version also 2018 ?

Vehicle Tracking requires version 2018 of AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Architecture etc. to be installed, so called "host application".

Make sure install the host application first, then install VT.

Yess indeed, I've tryed this with different versions of autocad from 2017 to 2019, therefore I do not see why this should be a problem...

see here the system requirements from Autodesk:

System requirements Autodesk Vehicle Tracking 2018

And it is definitely only compatible within the same AutoCAD version.

Thank you again for your help. Perharps I've only tryed with Autocad versions 2017 and 2019; I just realized until now that I did not try with version 2018.. 

However, I learned from your last message that I do need to have the following Host aplications: 

• Autodesk® AutoCAD® 2018
• Autodesk Architecture 2018
• Autodesk Civil 3D 2018
• Bentley® MicroStation® V8i (SELECTseries 1) (08.11.07.171 to 442)
• Bentley MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 2) (08.11.07.443 or higher)
• Bentley MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3) (08.11.09.292 or higher)

Do I need to have all of this programs? or perharps only Autocad 2018 would help? I rememeber having it installed before in a different computer but as far as I recall it only Autocad..

no you just need one of those applications installed

Hello @Anonymous, 

This would require the compatibility of the licensing type & AutoCAD-based host application version 2018 .

*So, make sure you are installing compatible 2018 products. 

I found this step by step guide for installing Vehicle Tracking, please disregard the version I couldn't locate this for the 2018 version.
