Unable to install anything with downloaded installers and Autodesk Desktop App

Hello everyone

I was trying to install Autocad and Autocad LT but installation failed every time with code 70.

I tried removing all Autodesk repated keys in registry, files in appdata, temp, programdata and programfiles, disabling Windows Defender, updating Windows and reinstalling VC++ and .NET.

I also tried using all possible installation options (install/download).

This didn't resolve my issue, so I decided to install Autodesk Desktop App as standalone application. However when I log in, it shows I don't have a license for any product and software list is empty, which is weird because I use educational license.

Autodesk Licensing service was running at the time and restarting it didn't help either.

I feel like I'm in a dead end with this installation.

Hi @marek.ledworowski,

Have you followed the instructions here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/simplecontent/content/autodesk-software-installati...

Run all installers as admin,

You can check which products you have at https://manage.autodesk.com/ under products and services.

@leowarren34 thanks for your reply. I have already followed this article at least three times with both online and offline installer.

Are you getting any errors when you install Visual C++ Redis on its own?

@leowarren34 None. On 1st try tried repairing installation, later tried uninstalling and installing again but to no avail. After "installation" I checked the logs and seems like AdskLicensing has a few bugs in service configuration scripts.

Btw this failed on both Win10 20H1 and 20H2.

Problem solved.

Accessed products through https://manage.autodesk.com/ and downloaded AutoCAD 2020 instead of 2021. Installed flawlessly on first try.
