Unable to activate Maya 2018 on Mac with Catalina 10.15.5

I installed the 2020 licensing update with no change after verifying my connection to the Autodesk site.

I then deleted the contents of the following files:

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/CLM/

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/ADUT/

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Web Services/

I then tried to run 2018 and got the following error: “The product you are using requires a serial number and product key to continue.   “ see attached.  No activation options presented.

Hi @tmackiiiMEJAE,

Due to the new security signing on Catalina, Maya 2018 isn't fully compatible like newer versions and so isn't listed on the System Requirements. However, you may still be able to install with a couple of workarounds.

Thanks for the post I tried all suggestions with no joy.  I have updated to Catalina 10.15.6 and Maya 2020.2 continues to work with the jerks and slows on a MASH animation.  My system meets requirements posted except for updated OS version (now Catalina 10.15.16).  Thanks for the help.
