Type of license vs License expiration date

Hi,

I have 2 cases, one customer with a plant design suite standard 2016 stand alone, the license behavior is Extendable and there is an expiration date 2 juin 2016. The other customer have a Product Design suite Ultimate 2016, license behavior is permanent and there is no expiration date.

In the first case, the product is not on subscription and the second is on subscription. So, what define the license behavior on 2 standalone products and why i have an expiration date on my first case?

Both license type are Commercial and license model Standard.

are you sure the plant design standard is not a desktop subscription license?

Was my first tought, but the Plant Design Suite do not have any contract number in the license inquiry (Partner Portal), so i think we can assume this is not a desktop subscription license. I have checked one of our customer with desktop subscription licenses and on the column Licensing Model, it's TERM.

In my first case, there is nothing in this column.

could this been a home use serial number?

It's plausible, but the customer didn't know. I think i will call Autodesk to confirm this serial number.
