I have a user running Civil 3D in trial mode (he was not asked for payment information). I am trying to switch him to our business's named users licensing. His account is set up as a user in our business's Autodesk named user licensing with his work email address. The work email address is the same email he has associated with his trial. When he opens an AutoCAD product and signs in to his Autodesk account, it always goes to his trial.
From what I have read, I need to wait for the trial to run out. But, that does not seem like that would be correct. I don't want to count down the days to when the trial runs out to make sure he can switch over and keep working.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
What I have looked at:
There is no option to delete the trial from his Autodesk account.
Deleting his account and recreating it can take up to 90 days.
Hi @brian.einkauf,
Ask them to check their https://manage.autodesk.com/ and make sure that Civil 3D is visible there, if it's not then it's assigned to him. Make sure you have assigned Civil 3D to the correct account and that he is logging in with the correct account.
Failing that follow this article: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Autode...
When logged into the users Autodesk account at manage.autodesk.com, "All Product and Services" has "No Results Found".
In the Business account, I have him setup exactly the same as all my other users (that all correctly get their products and services). The email address I use for this user in the business account is the same email address he uses to login with.
In the Business account he is listed as "Active" and has "Architecture Engineering & Construction Collection" assigned to him.
