Student license

Hi,

I have been using AutoCAD 2014 with my student license, but it has expired a month ago. I want to renew my license as I am still eligible for student license. Can I simply get a new serial and reactivate the product?

I was reading that I might need to uninstall then reinstall the software. Can you confirm how to do it in order to keep my drawings?

Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the community..

When a student license expires, you have to go back and request a new license.  But it can't be the same version.  Log in and request a newer version here.  Don't worry about losing or migrating any of your files.  Drawings created in AutoCAD 2013-2017 can all be opened in AutoCAD 2013-2017 without any issues or migration process.
